DESCRIPTION:COMPLETE YOUR AUDITION FORM \nPM&L Theatre and director Jim Behr are pleased to welcome actors of all  ages\, colors\, and genders to audition for our production of  The Rocky Horror Show.  \nAuditioners must have completed their online audition form and reserved an audition slot before arrival. Audition forms and slots can be scheduled on a walk-in basis but are preferred in advance. \nAuditions will be held on Monday\, July 29\, and Tuesday\, July 30\, 2024\, at PM&L Theatre\, located at 877 Main Street in Antioch\, IL. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday\, July 31. Each auditioner will audition solo.  Please prepare a musical selection; 16 to 32 bars in musical rock style. \nThe Rocky Horror Show will open Friday\, October 25\, 2024 and will run for 2 weekends until Saturday\, November 2\, 2024.  Performances will be Friday and Saturday evenings\, starting at 11 PM. \nAbout the Show\nOne fateful night\, Brad Majors and his fiancée\, Janet Weiss — a wholesome\, well-behaved\, utterly normal young couple in love — innocently set out to visit an old professor. Unfortunately for them\, this night out is destined to be one they will never forget. A thunderstorm and a flat-tire force them to seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank ’N’ Furter\, an alien\, transvestite scientist with a manic genius and insatiable libido. Brad\, Janet\, and Frank’ N’ Furter’s cohorts are swept up into the scientist’s latest experiment. The night’s misadventures will cause Brad and Janet to question everything they’ve known about themselves\, each other\, love\, and lust.
