Let’s just say—we choose not to. PM&L Theatre absorbs as many costs as we can to keep tickets affordable and transparent. No surprise handling fees, no service charges tacked on at the end. The price you see is the price you pay, because we believe great theatre shouldn’t come with a side of sticker shock. We pay credit card processing fees, and fees to out ticketing platform, they are just factored into our ticket price, not passed on to you.
Refunds & Exchanges
While tickets are transferable, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds. However, if you contact the Box Office at least one hour in advance of any performance you are unable attend you may exchange your tickets for another performance of that production. Ticket exchange is subject to availability.
When to Arrive
In order to secure parking and your seats we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the scheduled curtain time. However, Tribute Hall is open for craft beers, fine wines, and snacks one hour before every performance.
One of our ushers may escort you to the nearest available seat during the performance. You may take your assigned seat after intermission.
Children
Yes, all patrons must have a ticket regardless of age. As performances can last for ninety minutes or more we ask that children attending should be able to remain silent throughout the performance. We have content guidelines on our show pages or you can contact us at (847) 395-3055 to inquire about the appropriateness of the show for children. Stage Struck Youth Theatre, and sensory-friendly performances MAY have exceptions to this rule.
Photography
We'd love for you to check-in and take photos before the performance, in fact we have a selfie station set up near concessions and when available one of our staff will be happy to take a picture of your group with your phone/camera. However, due to licensing agreements, no video or photography is permitted during most performances.
Seating
Most performances have reserved seating. Special events are usually general admission.
Please note that our balcony is only accessible by stairs.
Accessibility
For Those With Mobility Challenges
- There are accessible parking spaces in the public lot behind the theatre. There is an alley immediately next to the theatre as well as wheelchair ramps south of the theatre for getting to the Main Street sidewalk from the parking lots.
- A wheelchair accessible restroom is located in the main lobby. As well as in our concessions space.
- Wheelchair accessible seats are available on a first-come/first-serve basis in the front of the main seating level and are reservable through our ticket office (847) 395-3055, and online.
- There is a curb and a right turn lane directly in front of the theatre, for this reason the rear parking lot is the best place for loading and unloading, patrons stopping and standing in front of the building do so at their own risk.
